This simple relay wiring harness is a complete and practical solution for connecting auxiliary light bars to vehicles with a 12-volt electrical system. The kit comes with a 40A relay, 30A fuse and a pre-assembled DT connector - perfect for Viklight bars as well as models from Rigid Industries, Oledone and other manufacturers with DT connections.
Wiring does not fit vehicles with 24V systems (e.g. trucks) and is not compatible with the coarser DTP connector used on, for example, Rigid RDS and Viklight Oden 180W.
In ground-controlled electrical systems (such as some Asian cars), the connection can be adjusted by connecting ground to pin 30, 12V to pin 86, and control signal in the form of ground to pin 85. Also note that the DT connector's power pin may then need to be moved.
